Gushiken received a Student Poster Award!
Eiyu Gushiken, M2 student of Ishikawa Lab, received a Student Poster Award Grand Prize at Q-BASIS 2024 held from November 11 to 14 at The Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research, Osaka University. His presentation title is “Ab-initio calculations of energy transfer from femtosecond laser pulse to amorphous silicon”.
Q-BASIS (Quantum Beam Application for Sciences and Industries) is a forum where researchers working in different fields such as lasers, materials science, chemistry, biology, medical and pharmaceutical sciences, quantum beam science, plasma physics, etc., gather with the latest research results from Japan and abroad, with the keyword “application and use of light and quantum beams”.
Q-BASIS 2024 attracted more than 100 participants from six countries, who gave 3 keynote speeches, 34 invited lectures, and 30 poster presentations.
